ZB!
Ok folks, I'm just about to finish the first chapter of a new book for Wiley/Sybex. Its a beginner's guide to Zbrush 3.1 (probably 3.2 by the time its published). Should be out in March or April. This book is for absolute beginners + newbies. I hope to make it fun and recruit more Zbrush devotees. The book is being written at the same time as a more advanced guide to Zbrush is in the works by a local Zbrush and sculpting guru (i'll let him announce his own book if he hasn't already). The two books together should turn anyone into an overnight Zbrush master!! I'm also helping out Pixologic edit the documentation for Zbrush 3.2. I'll give you updates as I go.
Right now I'm finishing up my latest tour of duty at Prologue. Looking forward to working at home for a while with my dogs. On top of this I will hopefully be working on some science animations for Harvard medical School/Digizyme and creating video tutorial s for molecularmovies.com. i have one done already but i need to edit it.

I can't wait to get around to making more tutorials for molecular movies! I actually have some video tuts in the works. I just need to find the time! Ahhgh!

I've placed my order for your book. I like the "think different" approach i've been reading on the reviews. Can't wait to check it out. I'll also keep an eye out on the zbrush book. Who is the other author for the advanced book? I've not been able to find any info.

yup scott spencer is writing the advanced book. he teaches at Gnomon. great artist and teacher!!
