What's he building in there?

This is a portrait of Tom Waits I'm working on for my ZBrush class. Its getting closer to looking like him, but it still has a ways to go...






I've finished writing Introducing ZBrush, now I'm in Edit mode (ha ha! Zbrush humor....oy). I'm very excited about the book. It is packed solid with tutorials, quicktime movies, example files. Its going to be a real bargain. I'm looking forward to Scott's book too. This is the second time I've taken his class and it still amazes me how much I get out of it. As far as the classes I've taken at Gnomon, his Advanced ZBrush class is one of my favorites, up there with John Brown's sculpting class and life drawing with Kevin LLewllyn.

I do miss studying with Kevin, I feel like my life gets to wholesome without his corrupting influence around...
